Maiden season of Philippine team pickleball

The Maharlika Pilipinas Pickleball Tour (MPPT) launches its first season with Leg 1 in Angeles, Pampanga — October 3–4, 2026.

Twelve founding teams represent cities and regions across the country, including General Santos, Tacloban, Batangas, Parañaque, Muntinlupa, Rizal, Cavite, Camarines Norte, Pampanga, Bacoor, Bangued, and Abra.

Format

• 5 legs across the season (October–December 2026)
• Top 8 teams advance to the final phase in December
• Team-based competition — built to grow pickleball beyond one-day opens

Founded by Manny Pacquiao and commissioner Mark Espinosa, MPPT is positioned as a professionally run league focused on fair play, community, and developing Filipino talent.
