You’re ready to coach — even if you’re just starting
If you’ve been helping friends with their serve, running informal drills at open play, or thinking “I could teach this,” this is for you.
PaddleBag is opening coach listings to new and aspiring coaches, not only people with years of certs and a full calendar. Zero years of formal coaching is fine. What matters is that you can tell players who you help and how a session with you actually goes.
Why list here
Players already come to PaddleBag for paddles, courts, and the community. Your coach page sits next to that — a verified listing instead of another post buried in a group chat.
When you go live, you get:
- A public profile — specialties, rates, and where you coach
- In-app messages — players reach you from your listing, not random DMs
- Gated contact — email, phone, and socials stay private until you approve a request
- Player reviews — trust builds on your profile over time
Calendar booking and payments aren’t live yet. Today, players can message you and request contact. Booking comes later.
You don’t need a thick resume
Proof is optional. You can attach a certification, club letter, or clinic photos — or skip it. Files stay private. Every listing still gets an admin review before it’s public, so the directory stays credible even when we’re welcoming beginners.
How to apply
- Create your passport — Sign up free and finish a player profile. Coaches are part of the same community.
- Fill your listing — Photos, rates, how you coach, and optional proof.
- Go live after review — Nothing is public until an admin checks it. You’ll get a notification when you’re approved or if we need a tweak.
Who this is for
- Players who already teach informally and want a real listing
- Newer coaches building their first students
- Anyone who’s been waiting for “permission” — you don’t need it from us beyond a short review
If that sounds like you: Apply as a coach. Prefer the full pitch first? See List your coaching on PaddleBag.
We’re building this for the coaches who are just getting started — not only the ones who already have a waitlist.
